Gala Music, a decentralized music streaming platform, has announced the launch of its "clicker-style" game, which is now available as a Telegram Mini App. Music Miner has standard goals: to enhance Web3 music engagement and onboard a broader audience from the Telegram ecosystem. The interface is primitive as always: click, invite, earn $TREZ. The daily codes and quests that allow passive farming follow similar mechanics of one of the most popular clickers, Hamster Kombat, while the design is similar to TapSwap.

This is not the first time Gala Music has experimented with Telegram Mini Apps. Treasure Tapper, launched this June, offers the same features and interface and uses the same reward token. Both apps were developed by Gala Games. It could be that the launch of this new game was triggered by a decline in the popularity of Treasure Tapper. All these looking-alike clicker apps rapidly gain and lose fame.

According to the company, $TREZ tokens will be mintable on the blockchain in the future, with initial support for The Open Network and GalaChain.

Gala MUSIC is a blockchain platform for music distribution. Artists can earn by dropping their tracks to the platform's audience. Those who choose to buy tracks and/or operate 'Gala MUSIC Jukeboxes' nodes can earn the platform’s $MUSIC token. Through streaming, fans can also receive, earn, and win different perks, as well as other entertainment-related content, collectibles, and experiences.

The launch of the mini apps, on the one hand, can be a good audience booster for emerging artists, but on the other hand, excessive gamification somehow distracts from the music as an art.

In general, the Gala Music approach allows a new level of engagement and artist/fan communication, as well as advanced distribution and rewarding mechanics. At the same time, there is a parallel between trending tracks that bring higher rewards while they remain popular and meme-coins. 'One-day' songs with artificial popularity can be used for native token speculation and profit-making.

SORA also launched a clicker in July, although the 'pray-to-earn' samurai-themed game is only available by invitation right now.

The new samurais are expected to check in up to six times a day to earn rewards via passive ‘praying.' They can invite friends, complete quests, and participate in community contests. The mechanics are very similar to Blum, which also doesn’t require users to fiercely tap on the screen.

The top-performing players are promised a massive airdrop soon. Soratopia's distinguishing feature is its high-level design.

Telegram Mini Apps Evolution

With the latest Telegram update, mini apps were granted several new features that further promote them and enhance user experience.

Mini apps received "a whole new way to spread virally across the Telegram ecosystem." Now, apps can generate custom content for users, which they can add directly to their stories, making for a nifty new marketing tool.

The new 'Apps' tab in Search shows a list of users' apps and popular mini-apps, thus promoting them to a broader audience.

The in-app browser introduced in the same update allows users to easily switch between messages, websites, and mini-apps, which is a major enhancement of the interface. The collapsing bar allows users to respond to messages or open other mini apps – and then return to an app without waiting for it to load again. Before this update, the lack of multitasking significantly hindered the interaction with the apps.
