Aave is revamping its governance system with the upcoming v3 upgrade, focusing on enhanced voter participation and reduced costs. The protocol is also looking at licensing its codebase.

After almost a year of testing, Aave Protocol V3 was launched on Ethereum. The developers promise a bunch of different features and, of course, a reduction in gas costs. And cbETH is now available on Aave V3 market on Ethereum.

Aave held a proposal during which the governance members almost unanimously decided to freeze more than ten lending markets due to high market volatility.
