Blur and Open Sea’s failure to support Ordinals trading has led to them falling behind the OKX NFT marketplace. As Ordinals fever peaks higher, will they adapt be crushed by them?

With NFT sales volume almost doubling in the past month, prices are surging, and the pro-trader NFT marketplace Blur is taking in most of the volume they generate.

Blast has quickly attracted over $320 million in deposits, promising high APYs and an upcoming token airdrop. Its unique approach positions it as a notable new player in the Layer 2 field.

Recent analysis suggests that the ongoing war between Blur and OpenSea's NFT marketplaces is only adding to the drain on creators’ royalty income.

The exchange will initially support ETH loans using NFTs from a selection of four collections as collateral, with a Loan-to-Value ratio of up to 60%.

Leading NFT marketplace Blur rolled out a a peer-to-peer NFT lending protocol that allows collectors to buy blue-chip NFTs with a smaller upfront payment. And it has surpassed all of its peers in loan volume over the past week.

OpenSea has recently rolled out OpenSea Pro, a marketplace with advanced features targeting professional NFT traders, and plans to regain its market share from the rival Blur marketplace.
