The crypto industry has lost over $100 million due to scams and hacks. Apart from that, exploiting the recent popularity of meme-coins, someone single-handedly created 114 scam meme tokens.

In early April, a significant hack targeted MEV bots, resulting in the withdrawal of $25 million through an exploited vulnerability. Tether later took action by blocking the address of the validator responsible for the withdrawal.

MEV bot earned more than $1 million on successful arbitrage. But, almost an hour later, a hacker stole all the funds.

Due to the exploit in Acala’s liquidity pool about $3 billion was lost. The aUSD stablecoin lost its peg. Later, almost all the funds were returned in a controversial way.
