The closing arguments in the COPA vs Craig Wright trial started yesterday, with COPA already indicating that it will be passing evidence to the Director of Public Prosecution to consider criminal charges. Because of course, the judge couldn’t possibly rule that Wright is Satoshi… could he?

The Satoshi Nakamoto claimant returned to the stand to deny that he had doctored emails previously presented in evidence during the trial. One of the prosecution's main angles of evidence is the ‘industrial scale’ forgery of documents in Wright’s previous court appearances.

Craig ‘Faketoshi’ Wright has told London’s High Court that numerous computer documents, which even his own expert witness admits are fake, were created by other people in an attempt to portray him as a liar.

The U.K. court has ruled that crypto podcaster Peter McCormack should pay Craig Wright, the Australian scientist who claims to be Bitcoin inventor Satoshi Nakamoto, around 900,000 British pounds (USD $1.1 million) in costs following their legal battle.
