It’s official… Based on the “overwhelming” nature of the evidence, Justice James Mellor has released his early findings in the COPA vs Faketoshi case. TLDR; Craig S Wright is not the creator of Bitcoin and did not author the Bitcoin whitepaper.

The closing arguments in the COPA vs Craig Wright trial started yesterday, with COPA already indicating that it will be passing evidence to the Director of Public Prosecution to consider criminal charges. Because of course, the judge couldn’t possibly rule that Wright is Satoshi… could he?

The Satoshi Nakamoto claimant returned to the stand to deny that he had doctored emails previously presented in evidence during the trial. One of the prosecution's main angles of evidence is the ‘industrial scale’ forgery of documents in Wright’s previous court appearances.

The release of Satoshi Nakamoto's private emails is a frank reminder that Bitcoin has already become something very different than originally intended.

The prosecution has concluded its cross-examination of the Australian computer scientist and moved on to question his ‘expert’ witnesses, in the U.K. trial hoping to conclusively disprove Wright’s claim to be Bitcoin inventor Satoshi Nakamoto.

Craig ‘Faketoshi’ Wright has told London’s High Court that numerous computer documents, which even his own expert witness admits are fake, were created by other people in an attempt to portray him as a liar.
