Uniswap Labs and Ledger are teaming up to make trading cryptocurrencies easier and safer with a new feature on Ledger Live. This new partnership brings together the massive network of the world's largest decentralized exchange with the trusted security of a leading hardware wallet provider, a major boost for the user experience.

Now, users can effortlessly swap tokens right within Ledger Live using Uniswap's trading API, handling Ethereum and ERC-20 token exchanges without having to jump between platforms.

“Our mission is to unlock value through universal exchange. We are working with Ledger to simplify the user experience with self-custody, bringing the power of innovation from both teams to more people." Mary-Catherine Lader, COO of Uniswap Labs.

Uniswap has also rolled out 'clear signing,' a feature that simplifies transaction checking, making it easier for users and significantly reducing mistakes.

💡
Clear signing enhances the transaction approval process by displaying human-readable details of a user's interaction with the platform. This feature ensures that users can verify critical information, such as the token swap amounts, recipient addresses, and any fees involved, directly within their wallet.

Ian Rogers, chief experience officer and board member of Ledger, spoke about the new feature. “Clear signing is the only secure way users should be authorizing transactions,” he said. “If it’s unverifiable, it’s unreliable.”
